2012 TBR pile Reading challenge

For 2012 TBR pile Reading challenge I step upped from shaking a firm handshake and moved on to a friendly hug last month. So far I have finished reviewing only four books this month and nine last month, I say that's an okay dent.

Audio Book Challenge

For 2012 Audio Book Challenge my second pick was once again a cupcake book. 

The Iron Duke by Meljean Brook, Narrated by Faye Adele

If you haven't read or listened to this book, I recommend you do both. This is absolutely worth it.

Like January, February was also dedicated to Black Dagger Brotherhood boys, and I think it will continue some more this month and maybe a little bit in the next.

I have been very productive on January. I don't know though how much I succeeded. 

Here is what I did

Changed my blog addy and the name, as you can see! Now I am officially The Nerd In Heels

You can find my emotional diarrhea during that process on the changing name process and test post. I am not quite sure if I am over that state yet.

I was productive in other ways, which includes getting started on the reading challenges.

Well it's the start of December, the holiday moth. Also this month my semester ends slow update in the blog and ALLOT of studies. 

So last month was quite slow as well. I didn't get to finish as much I would have liked. But I did get some reading done and also found a brand NEW book boyfriend. 

I finally finished The Agency Series book #3, The Traitor and The Tunnel and let me tell you I think this book is so awesome that I am now marking it as cupcake awesome series. I can not believe I waited sooooo long to read this book. So just be prepared there will be a lot pimping of this series on my blog :D

I also found myself falling in love with a new genre. Contemporary romance. Kristan Higgins's All I Ever Wanted convinced me to read more from this genre anyway. 

While trolling on goodreads I found out Karen Marie Morning (author of Fever series) wrote a scene from Jaricho Z Barrons POV. IT'S A SEX SCEEEEENE!! Oh dear god I squeed like a fourteen year old when I saw that even though Fever is not a favorite series of mine. lol

Hello, last week was a good week. It started with Eid, so lots of celebration in my part of the world along with ALLOT of bbq'ing. My sisters are big on making stick kabab's. My younger sister made this

How those four remained 10 seconds later is still a mystery o_O

So in other news I read and reviewed TWO books in a week! I know I am surprised myself ;) 

I read Heart Of Steel by Meljean Brook. I was not disappointed. And I think I shall be buying the audiobooks as well. WOOT! Archimedes Fox and Lady Corsair was absolutely awesome to read about. And I still love the Iron seas series so I will be following this series in the future.

I have also finished The Body at the Tower by Y.S. Lee last week. This book is the second book of The Agency series. And I am happy to say I have found another series to love and adore. I am so glad that the third book The Traitor and the Tunnel is already out in UK. So no problem purchasing it from there.

Drags in box to start my ranting about my week.

This month started pretty gloomy with midterms, but didn't last long as the mid term was done by the second. Then I spent some time reading, and I finally finished one of the books that I started to read for Bout Of Books read-a-thon A Spy In The House by Y.S. Lee. I might have exaggerated how much I loved the book on my review so I thought I should do that again. If you haven't read this book, definitely check it out.  

When I was seeing everyone reading Heart Of Steel by Meljean Brook in my goodreads/ Google reader/ twitter updates, I just couldn't handle it. I BOUGHT THE DAMN BOOK! I am so not book shopping for another month I swear (this time I will keep it..... I think). I am not to blame for this purchase, it's just too tempting and I have been waiting for a looooong time for this book to come out after The Iron Duke.

In other news I have a new rating system
