I went on a Manny hunt but sadly the picks readers recommended just didn't fit for me but when I saw Missie's MBB post for Manny played by Jo Weil. I said, YESS THAT'S THE ONE!!

Hello my pretties.. Today I will like to introduce you to John Matthew from J.R. Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood. My new book boyfriend :)

John Matthew/Tehrror is the reincarnation of Darius. Born mute, John uses American Sign Language and whistling to communicate with others. Before learning that he was a pre-trans vampire, he lived alone in the human world. At one point, he was cornered in the hallway to his apartment and raped by an unknown human. In despair John turned to the suicide prevention network in Caldwell and met Mary Luce. He followed her home so that he could meet her; during this meeting, Mary's neighbor, Bella, visited and sensed John was a vampire like her. As the introductions ensued, Bella noticed a bracelet John wore which carried his name in the Old Language. The name of a Brother, Tehrror. Bella contacts the brotherhood and John learns what he is and that he will soon go through his transition to become an adult male vampire. He was also invited to live amongst his kind, at which time he lived with Tohrment and his expectant mate Wellisandra. Now that he has gone through his transition Wrath has made him join the war due to his unexplained proficiency with weapons and knowledge of Lessers. His story is told in Lover Mine. He is best friends with Qhuinn and Blaylock, and now is Xhex's mated Hellren. He shares a kinship with Zsadist because of the traumatic similarities in their pasts.

John leaned in and pressed his lips to hers; then he stretched out beside her. His body was exhausted but, his heart was alive with a joy so pure it was like the sunlight he didn't get to see anymore: He was a mute-ass motherfucker with a nasty past and a night job that involved fighting evil and slaughtering the undead. John lifted his head and looked down at her. His eyes were worried and he was careful as he brushed at her hair. She smiled.

"Nah, I'm fine. I'm more than fine."
A sly grin bloomed as he mouthed, ain't that the truth.

As he nodded, she rolled her eyes.

John was all male as he cocked a brow. And damn it if she didn't feel a tingle in her cheeks.
" Listen, John Matthew." She took his chin in her hand. "You're not turning me into one of these females who goes gaga over her lover. Not happening. I'm not hard-wired for that."
Her voice was stern and she meant every word, except the instant he rolled his hips and that huge arousal pushed into her, she purred.
She purred.
The sound was utterly foreign and she'd have sucked it back down her throat if she could have. Instead, she just left out another of those decidedly non-tough-guy moans. John bowed his head to her breast and started suckling on her as he somehow manage to keep thrusting in slow, even penetrations. Swept away, her hands found his hair again, spearing through the thick softness.
" Oh, John..."
And then he stopped dead, lifted his lips from her nipple, and smiled so wide it was a wonder he didn't bust off his front teeth. His expression was one of total and complete gotcha.
" You are a bastard, " she said on a laugh.
He nodded. And pressed into her with his full lenght again. It was perfect that he was giving her shit and showing her a little of who was boss. Just perfect. Somehow it made her respect him even more, but then, she'd always loved strength in all its forms. Even the teasing kind.
"I'm not surrendering , you know."
He pursed his lips and shook his head, all oh, no, of course not. And then he started to pull out of her. As she growled low in her throat, she sank her nails into his ass.
"Where do you think you're going ?”

John Matthew is played by Channing Tatum... I had no idea he had such a great ass before I watched The Vow.

I wanted to introduce Tohrment to everyone this week, but just didn't feel right breaking the circle. Will go as the books.

My Thoughts

I wanted to try a really elaborated review, but let's stick to simple one. I liked it, not over the top but just in the lines of okay story.

Lover Reborn continues the series with Thorment and No'One. I am happy for Tohr, he deserves his happy ending. After reading about Tohr's and the angst that follows in practically all BDB books I couldn't help but fall in love with the vampire. However I laughed out loud every time I read the name No'One. Just imagine how many great jokes it would make if Tohr tried to introduce her to someone, 'Meet my Shellan  No'one.' Yeah I just couldn't resist. But I am happy that she finally had a name. 

This book had so many other mini stories that it was hard to keep up at times. Specially with the huge amount of Xhex and John. Didn't they already have a book? 

Layla, I feel really sorry for the girl. She is just a blood bag to everyone. That's the saddest part but after this book the blood bag thing might finally change, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for the chosen. 

Qhuinn and Blay... there is not enough space for me to describe how I feel about them. So let's just say when I saw this 

 

I was screaming like five year old and then crying like a love sick teenager.

Ward is actually giving them a novel? I wasn't expecting that but after reading this lines I was ready for a short story.

As Blay started to straighten, like a message had been received, Qhuinn thought,
That’s right, buddy. Our future has come.

Oh Miss Ward, you are a complete tease. Which also means the Black Dagger Brotherhood series continues.
And I can not wait to read book #11 when I can find out who bottoms or who tops... or both (pun intended) lol

Today my book boyfriend is Rehvenge from J.R. Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood.

Rehvenge, Son of Rempoon. Rehvenge is half symphath, and owner of a local club called ZeroSum. He is also a member of the vampire aristocracy and the "Princeps Leahdyre" of its council. He hides the fact that he is half "symphath" even from his own sister, Bella. His story is told in Lover Avenged. He is also known as The Reverend. The Reverend is also known for his barb, if you know what I mean. And his famous Mohawk.

“Rehvenge?”

“Yes.”

“Take my vein.”

She could tell she’d shocked the shit out of him by the way his breath caught. “Excuse…Whwhat?”

She had to smile, thinking that he wasn’t the kind of male who stuttered much. “Take my vein.

Let me give you something.”

Through his parted lips she saw his fangs elongate, not so much inching as punching out of his skull.

“I’m not sure…whether that would be…” As his breath grew ragged, his voice got even deeper.

She put her hand to her neck and massaged her jugular slowly. “I think it’s a great idea.” As his eyes glowed purple, she eased onto her back and cocked her head to the side, exposing her throat.
“Ehlena…”

What this scene follows was just BAM. Blows your mind.

“Looks like I’m spending my future with you,” she said against his mouth.

He shuddered, as if he were letting his last doubts go. “I don’t deserve you.”

“Yes, you do.”

“I’m going to take care of you.”

“I know.”

“And like I said, I’m not going back to what I did before here in town.”

“Good.” He paused, as if he wanted to reassure her even more and was searching for words.

“Stop talking and kiss me again. My heart’s made up and so is my mind, and there’s nothing more you need to tell me. I know who you are. You’re my hellren.”

And there is a happy ending. That's why I partly love reading about the brotherhood.

Rehvenge is played by Marco da Silva. Google him, I promise it's not easy finding one picture of him with his pants on. Not that I am complaining ;)

I started bringing all the Black Dagger Brotherhood as my boyfriends  because the last book Lover Reborn is coming out this month on 27th. So far I have introduced everyone to Wrath the blind king , Rhage , Zsadist , Butch O'Neal , Vishous & Phury. Now that I have revealed my seventh boyfriend from the brotherhood, I have only five more left to introduce! Hope everyone enjoys all these man candy that's called the Black Dagger Brotherhood :)

This week I am going to introduce everyone to another one of my BDB boyfriend. And he is my favorite, yes he is THE one. Phury from Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward.

Phury, son of Aghony, is Zsadist's twin brother and a celibate who cannot truly live because of everything his biological brother has lost. Phury is incredibly loyal to his brother, even shooting off his own leg to save his twin. His noble nature went so far as to help release Vishous from being "Primale" to the Chosen. He eventually falls in love with the Chosen, Cormia, his first mate. His story is told in Lover Enshrined.

“Your scent is so strong,” she said in a deep voice.

“Yes.” He put the chalk down and inhaled, smelling jasmine. “So is yours.”

“You want to kiss me, don’t you.”

He nodded. “Yeah. I do.”

“You untucked your shirt. Why?”

“I’m hard. I got hard the moment you came into the office.”

Cormia emerged from the Primale temple, her lovely face stunned as she looked around. When she saw him, her hands clamped to her mouth and her eyes started to blink fast.

With a cry, she gathered her gorgeous pale lavender robe and ran toward him, tears streaming down her cheeks.

He caught her as she leaped up to him and held her warm body to his.

“I love you,” she choked out. “I love you, I love you . . . I love you.”

In that moment, with the world that was his in transformation, and his shellan safely in his arms, he felt something he never would have imagined.

He finally felt like the hero he had always wanted to be.

Phury was played by Travis Fimmel. I am now a bit tempted to read Lover Enshrined again.

Butch/Dhestroyer is the only male human to be allowed within the Brotherhood, and is descended from Wrath. This connection to him allows him to be "turned" and he is initiated in the BDB. He has been through all the book of the brother hood. He lives at the "Pit", a two bedroom gate-house connected to the mansion where the King and other Brothers reside, with Vishous and he is a friend to all the warriors. An ex-homicide detective, he was lovingly given the nickname "Cop" by the vampires. He is the object of an ancient Lesser Prophecy, and has the ability to sense them wherever they are and can absorb them into himself. His story and his love for the vampire Marissa is told in Lover Revealed.

Rhage aka Hollywood, is a sex legend in the vampire world. He is very pretty but don't be deluded by the outer shell. He has a dark side. A very very dark side of him and when his dark side takes over as the beast everyone, including his brothers stay out of his way. He is the only vampire in the brotherhood to take a human as his shellan.... I think. Also he has a fetish for tootsie pop.

Mary stared up into Rhage's electric blue eyes. She could swear they were blazing in the darkness, that teal light was actually coming out of them. She'd sensed a similar thing back in the parking lot.

The hair on the nape of her neck stood up.

"Don't worry about the glow," he said softly, as if he'd read her mind.

"It's nothing."

"I don't understand you," she whispered.

"Don't try to."

He closed the distance between them, dipping low. His lips were soft as suede against hers, lingering, clinging. His tongue came out and stroked over her mouth.

"Open for me, Mary. Let me in."

The thing about Rhage is that he can talk dirty and yet make it sound sensual and romantic at the same time. It's absurd! 

Again like Wrath I had hard time picking someone to play the part of Rhage. Jason Lewis seems to be a very popular choice for Rhage's character.You know when you go into google you find all sort of stuff! I found that Jason looks pretty awesome when he is kissing a boy.

Wrath, son of Wrath, is the King of the vampires and is the last pure blood vampire in existence. He is the leader who was not willing to ascend the throne. Wrath is blind and relies on a dog called George who sleeps with him and his wife, Beth.

What got me reading the BDB series was Wrath. The way he was described in the books. And I think also because it was one of my first adult romance novel that had a plot! *shifty eyes*

Wrath was dumbfounded.

And he wasn't a vampire who got struck stupid very often.

Holy shit.

This half-human was the hottest thing he'd ever gotten anywhere near. And he'd cozied up to a lightning strike once or twice before.

It was the red smoke. That had to be it. And the stuff must be getting to him, too, because he was more than ready to take her.

He eyed the cigarillo.

Well, that's some damn good rationalizing, he thought. Too bad the shit was a relaxant, not an aphrodisiac.

She groaned again, her body undulating in a sexy wave, her legs opening wide. The scent of her arousal hit him hard as a body shot. God, he would have been sent to his knees if he hadn't already been sitting down.

"Touch me," she moaned.

*fan self* I have been searching for the perfect Wrath for a looooong time, but sadly no one has come close. The long hair, the body, the eyes. Well after some searching and lot of discussion with my friend Calanthaa, I decided to stick to Renne Castrucci.

Hump Wednesday

I tend to forget about this weekly post. Soooo sowwy :(  But once again I iz backz. :D Last time I was stuck with BDB and well, I am still stuck. So today we will get to know Rehvenge.......

Stuck In BDB

After finishing the first six books and An Insider's Guide of Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R.Ward I am now stuck. There are only two books left and I don't really know is it because I have to wait till next March for the next book or what, I just can't seem to start reading Lover Avenged.

Getting sidetracked while reading is one of them, certainly. And I still have a bucket full of 'books to read' list that I need to finish. *head wall*

In the mean time I was able to get some friends into the BDB books. But I am being a total fail whale. *head wall*

Maybe I should start going through some man candy that might get me to start reading this book again!!!
