*SPOILERS FROM BOTH BOOK*

I have hormones under control because I STARED SHADOWFEVER  LAST NIGHT AFTER THAT GOD DAMN WTF AGAIN.

As usual Miss Moning started off this book where she left the last one, Faefever. Mac had no coherent sense of what was happening to her with the unseelie princes. They were sent to RAPE her by LM aka Lord Master. And of course he refused that he was the fourth one that raped her. Now the question remains who was the fourth *if there was a fourth* But I do hope Shadowfever clears up some question for me cause no way in earth does this man sound sane to me, why on earth does he keep saying he had feelings for Alina?!? *sigh*

Living a pri-ya Mac, Barrons is the ones left to bring her back from that state. 'The method' to bring her back might seem o_O *yeah I don't have a word for that either* I kept saying aloud 'what? Why? Barrons, No!! She is gonna hate you.' for the first five minutes, and THEN Barrons opened his mouth. Me = melts. After Mac is back and she described how the room looked, to what length Barrons went to bring her back, me = melts.

Ryodan, aka IYCGM is seem to have a bigger part in this book. His statements about Mac is a bit unsettling and it lead me to think she might be a fae... you never know with KMM's book. Always expect the unexpected. Ryodan also seem to be fascinated by Dani, even though she is 13. *blinks* I can't say something here till Dani and Ryodan have an ACTUAL encounter. Who knows maybe when she grows up!!! But I am so fecking glad she was okay after this book, I couldn't have handled her turning into pri-ya.

WHAT JUST HAPPENED HERE?!?

I...I....I... 

that is me after finishing this book. I would love to start from the beginning to tell everyone how the book went, but my mind is too boggled with the ending to say something else.

OKAY..Let's try this again, 

After finishing Bloodfever Faefever takes up from there, Mac on the ground writhing from the pain.

Mac is learning more and more about fae world, but sadly it's V'lane who is giving her all the information. I still don't trust him, can you blame me?!?

Barrons, really did you have to throw that pink cake up the ceiling? It was a perfectly good cake you know, it sounded really delicious. *sigh*

Mac tries her best to get her mind in control, even if that does mean giving Barrons every answer he wanted. I am just surprised he didn't ask her if she wanted to have sex with him. I repeat what I said in my review for Bloodfever, if this was a BDSM book, Barrons would be the perfect example for a DOM. 

In this book I felt like, Mac and Barrons seems to be on a friendlier acquaintance. Which I loved!

The ending had me baffled, there is no way to sugarcoat this. Mac was raped. That is it. No matter how it happened, how she felt. It was rape.

See after this book, I should say I give up, but I cannot. Now more than ever I want to know what happens next. I am not wondering if there is a HEA anymore. I just want to know what happens.

My Thoughts

This took less than a week for me to finish! This earns it a star just for that! lol.

This book starts off right after a week of Darkfever. Mac is convincingly more mature. I think I hated her less in here. But overall verdict on Mac, I would say she grows a lot in this book, she is even a little darker and she is aware of it. The dark side of her is hiding but it feels as if it's waiting for the right kind of pus to be let out of it's shell. There are still three books left, I have a feeling we are just seeing the start of a dark Mac. I am really curious to find out how *IF* she even turns to the dark side.

Barrons *I think it's supposed to be Barrons not Barrens. What's up with the first part's spelling thing I don't know =/* is still an unknown species. He is definitely not sidhe-seers or Fae, but we still don't know what he is either. Some of the parts of Barrons did, I was a bit uncomfortable with. But I think I got past that throughout the novel. Barrons is ALPHA male, there is nothing tender about him. He doesn't even mind chaining Mac. Dude, if it was for BDSM or kinky role-play I don't think I would have minded. But that's just too much protectiveness. JS. Even though you know what you did you know you shouldn't have done.

Lol. I think I can channel my inner Mac too. 

V'lane. Someone stab him in the nuts! That's what I felt at first anyway. But I guess he is 'trying' to figure out why Mac keeps on refusing him and he turns off the fae magic for tiny few seconds.

Ending

New alliances and characters are introduced.

Mac is still trapped in Dublin *i don't think she is getting away either but one can always see the silver lining*

we are closer to finding Sinsar Dubh.
